Sauce Boss is a pixel-art shop tycoon about the whole chain — germinate it,
water it, harvest it in the golden window, bottle it, and read the customer
walking through your door well enough to sell it.

🌶️ GROW
Water, feed and defend 16 pots across two rooms. Mites spread if you ignore
them. Let a plant dry out and quality drops. Harvest inside the golden
PERFECT window for a yield bonus — miss it and you get an ordinary crop.

🧬 57 PEPPERS, 28 OF THEM HIDDEN
25 base peppers, four season-limited crops — and 28 crossbreeds that exist
only if you find them at the Breeding Bench. Cross two parents, name what you
create, then cross your hybrids with each other. Annuum, chinense and hybrids
each grow and ripen differently.

🍯 CRAFT
A Drying Rack, a Sauce Kitchen and an Extract Lab turn raw pods into flakes,
powder, rubs, table sauce, hot sauce, pepper jelly, extract and reaper
concentrate. Supplies come from a wholesaler whose prices swing daily —
buy the dip.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS
Eight customer types with their own cravings and budgets. Twelve named
regulars who remember you and build loyalty hearts. Plus shoplifters,
hagglers who never pay, a health inspector, and a rival vendor working your
block who has to be run off.

📈 BUILD THE EMPIRE
A 15-node research tree. Daily quests and weekly bulk orders. Staff who level
up and demand raises. Seasons, Harvest Heat Day, a yearly Pepper Cup with a
trophy shelf. Climb the town ranking from #50 to #1 — then open a second shop
at the Beach Kiosk, or franchise and prestige.

🥚 SECRETS
A day of the year that changes the whole shop. A stray cat you can adopt. A
wall safe with a combination you have to work out. A news TV. Something that
shows up in October, and something else in December. And a trapdoor in the
floor, once your shop is established enough to deserve it.
